The Band

Will Faeber – Lead Vocal, Keyboards, Guitar and Harmonica

International recording artist singer/songwriter Will Faeber:   David Allen of the BBC called Will’s 1997 release, NO SMALL COMFORT, “One of the best of the year”.   The recording spawned five dance club hits and kept Will and his band touring the UK and Europe for three years where they headlined such notable festivals as the Jacksonville and the Americana.  They also performed twice at London’s Wembley Arena.  Tracks from, No Small Comfort, have also been in feature films, choreographed for Dance and covered by other Artists in Nashville.  Will is a dynamic and charismatic performer: Richard James had this to say in his San Diego Troubadour review.  “Faeber sings in an unaffected, conversational style, sometimes making his lyrical delivery feel like a letter from an old friend. His husky voice has a distinct twang that brings an unexpected down-home feel to an otherwise elegant affair. It’s a clever contrast that sounds natural, not contrived.”  Will has recorded a total of six critically acclaimed CDs.

John DePatie – Lead Guitar

John DePatie has been guitarist for Nancy Sinatra since 2004 and with Leif Garrett since 2011. His command of a diverse number of styles keeps him in demand for live performances and recording sessions in Los Angeles. He is currently finishing up the followup to 2013’s “Acoustimania”, a CD of all original acoustic duets he recorded with keyboardist Don Randi from the Wrecking Crew. It consists largely of material from the Beach Boys catalog, and many of the songs featured Randi on the original recordings. In 2015 the soundtrack for the Wrecking Crew film featured a DePatie/Randi composition called “DePatie Melt.”

DePatie began working with blues singer Shari Puorto in December, 2015. The band has already opened for Philip Sayce as well as Phil Collen/Rob DeLeo’s new all-star group Delta Deep, and there are shows lined up through July.

In 2014 Cathouse Thursday, a group with whom DePatie has worked for years, released “Jezebel”, which was commissioned by Sonoton, the largest independent music library in the world. Cathouse Thursday are the recipients of numerous awards including “Best Band”, by the LA Film Awards.

In 2013 DePatie released a solo EP entitled “Psychedelic Cowboy” which was hailed as “inspired”, and performed in Oslo, Norway as part of a guitar festival honoring Norwegian guitar legend Marius Muller. In a review of the EP, heartheindie.com said “…the most valuable aspects of the music, the guitars, sound superb…”

Several compositions co-written by DePatie and Side FX singer Kim Cameron have made it to the charts including “Not Into You”, which made it to #17 on the Billboard Dance Chart in 2013. DePatie’s music has also been used on HBO and PBS and in several films, and in products by Yamaha and EMU.
